Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX Hearing Aids in Centennial

Following a conversation when several people are talking at once, with background noise coming from every direction, is one of the hardest listening situations for anyone with hearing loss. The Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX is designed specifically for these moments. Rather than simply making noisy rooms quieter, it works to keep you connected to the people you want to hear while preserving your awareness of the world around you.

A New Approach to Artificial Intelligence

The Pure Charge&Go MaX is the first hearing aid built on Signia's new platform called MaX, which stands for Multi-adaptive Xperience. At The Audiology METHOD, we offer this advanced technology to help you engage naturally in the busy, real-world settings where hearing aids are often put to the test.

Most hearing aids use artificial intelligence (technology that learns to recognize patterns in sound) for a single job, usually reducing background noise. Signia takes a different approach. MaX uses four separate AI systems, each trained for a different listening task, that constantly share information with one another. Working together, they give the hearing aids a more complete picture of what is happening around you before deciding how to process sound. Signia calls this approach Acoustic Intelligence.

What Makes Signia MaX Different

Four AI Systems Working Together

The heart of MaX is a set of four Deep Neural Networks. A Deep Neural Network, or DNN, is a form of AI modeled loosely on how the brain processes information, trained on huge amounts of real-world sound. Each of the four networks handles a specific task:

  • Speech detection identifies the voices and conversation partners you want to hear
  • Own voice detection recognizes when you are the one talking, so your own voice sounds natural
  • Scene analysis continuously reads the characteristics of your environment
  • Noise processing analyzes the type and location of background noise to decide how much to reduce it

Because these systems communicate with each other, the hearing aids respond to the full situation rather than reacting to noise alone. According to Signia, the networks were trained on 40 million sound samples spanning 11 languages, multiple music genres, thousands of real voices, and a wide range of listening environments.

Built for Group Conversations

MaX includes RealTime Conversation Enhancement AI, which locates and enhances multiple conversation partners during lively group discussions, even as the conversation shifts quickly from one person to another. Signia reports this system processes 75% more data points per second than its previous platform. This is the feature designed to help you contribute to a conversation with confidence, not just sit and listen.

Your Own Voice Sounds Natural

Many first-time hearing aid users find their own voice sounds too loud or unnatural. MaX addresses this with Own Voice Processing AI, which recognizes your voice automatically and adjusts for it. Unlike earlier systems that required a setup step in our office, this feature works right out of the box because the AI has been trained on thousands of voices.

Smarter Noise Handling

Dynamic Noise Control AI does more than measure how loud a room is. It considers what type of noise is present, where it is coming from, and whether you are actively in a conversation before deciding how much to soften it. In a noisy restaurant it can prioritize speech, while on a busy street it can preserve more environmental sound so you stay aware of important cues around you, like approaching traffic.

Connectivity and Modern Features

OneConnect Technology

Pure Charge&Go MaX uses what Signia calls OneConnect Technology, which combines several wireless and assistive-listening options in a single hearing aid. It supports Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth LE Audio (the newer, more efficient Bluetooth standard) along with a telecoil, a small feature that connects directly to hearing loop systems found in many theaters, churches, and public buildings. This broad range of connections means fewer compatibility questions across your phones, computers, and streaming devices.

Auracast Capability

The Pure Charge&Go MaX includes Auracast-capable hardware. Auracast is an emerging broadcast audio technology that will let venues like airports, theaters, and places of worship stream sound directly to your hearing aids. Signia states that full Auracast functionality will be turned on through a firmware update delivered via the Signia One app by March 2027. Until that update is released, this feature is not yet active.

Signia App and Support

The Signia app lets you adjust settings, switch programs, and personalize your hearing experience from your smartphone. The built-in Signia Assistant now includes natural-language troubleshooting, meaning you can describe an issue in your own words and receive helpful guidance.

Fitting Options and Battery Performance

The Pure Charge&Go MaX runs four AI systems continuously, which requires a significant amount of processing power. To make this possible, Signia developed a new chip that it reports offers 54 times more processing power, twice the memory, and 50% greater energy efficiency than its previous platform. This is what allows the Acoustic Intelligence system to stay active all day rather than being reserved for a single special listening mode.

This rechargeable receiver-in-canal hearing aid is available in eight color options and delivers up to 30 hours of battery life on a single charge, though this varies with streaming use, your listening environments, and battery age. It ships with a pocket-size portable charger that stores up to four additional full charges. A complete charge takes approximately four hours, and a 30-minute quick charge provides up to six hours of use.

The Pure Charge&Go MaX may be a strong fit if your biggest listening challenges involve restaurants, social events, meetings, or family gatherings with multiple talkers and background noise. That said, the most advanced hearing aid is not automatically the best one for every person. Your hearing test results, speech-in-noise ability, ear anatomy, and listening goals all matter in finding the right device for you.

Get Started with Signia MaX at The Audiology METHOD

We fit Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX hearing aids using evidence-based best practices to ensure you receive maximum benefit from this advanced technology. Our comprehensive fitting process includes Real Ear Speech Mapping verification testing, which measures the exact sound your hearing aids deliver in your unique ear canals. This precision fitting approach ensures your devices are delivering the correct amount of amplification for your specific hearing loss.

During your hearing aid evaluation, we'll discuss your communication goals and the listening situations that challenge you most. We don't select hearing aids based on marketing claims alone. We evaluate your hearing loss, speech understanding, real-world listening needs, and preferences before determining whether Signia MaX or another technology is the best match for you. We also use follow-up optimization to confirm the technology is truly improving your ability to hear in the situations that matter.
